It's a Worker Bees Life

Day 1

A worker bee is a housekeeper, cleaning cells including her own.

Day 3 to Day 8

She is a dietician or nurse, responsible for creating the diets and feeding them to larvae.

Day 8 – 16

Workers are logisticians, receiving nectar and pollen from foragers.

Day 12 to Day 18

Workers become engineers and architects within the hive as they make wax and build cells

Day 14 to the end of life

Workers either guard the entrance to the hive to make certain all entering belong there, or become foragers, collecting pollen and nectar for the colony.
